endios GmbH is a small, well-established, owner-run company founded in 2015 and based in the most beautiful city in the world—Hamburg. By now, our team consists of 45 employees working in our IT, Business, or Design department, united by their passion for what they do. The demand for digital customer solutions in the energy sector is rapidly increasing. Based on traditional applications, endios has developed a future-proof and innovative platform solution (endios one). Depending on our customers’ needs, different modules help improve communication, reduce costs, or increase product sales. As an intelligent data processing platform and due to CRM and marketing cloud connections, endios one allows for a tailor-made customer approach and therefore target-oriented sales and marketing activities. The open, interface-based platform concept comes in handy anytime during your day-to-day business: EV charging, parking, e-tickets, or public transport information in real time. As a platform, endios one provides access for third parties and is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

There is no such a typical working day. Ultimately, no day is like the other. In key account management, we take care of our customers' concerns, ranging from the implementation of new apps (project management) to the presentation of new products and solutions (sales). The areas of responsibility are very complex and varied.
Although endios has been on the market for a number of years, the start-up spirit has been retained. Flat hierarchies, short decision-making and communication channels, office parties and a harmonious working atmosphere are just a few keywords. Overall, endios has impressively managed to manage the transformation from a small start-up to a medium-sized company with more than 50 employees.
I've been with endios for more than seven years now, so there's a lot going on. A highlight was certainly when I won a Chromebook at the endios internal beer pong tournament - ceremonially presented by the boss.
At the beginning of the day, I check which customer enquiries have been received, prioritise them and look at which current development projects are pending. Afterwards, we discuss the goals and to dos of the day and week in the Customer Relationship Management and Project Team.
endios is characterised by its international and above all familiar working environment in which everyone can contribute with their own ideas.
My personal highlight at endios was the support in planning our customer advisory board meeting.
The day often starts with checking, completing and prioritising the to dos of the day and the week. A glance at the calendar shows all the appointments that affect my schedule for the day. If possible, I reserve time in the calendar for the prioritised to dos and any preparation for the appointments. Furthermore, I look at the email inbox including all reporting and Jira emails in order to make deductions and communicate if necessary. From then on, the day starts operationally. There is a lot of communication and, of course, reacting to acute needs and questions in the team. Conceptual work is just as much a part of my daily work as operational involvement in various decision-making issues. Meetings with clients, partners and project teams are also a continuous part of my work. If there is a gap, I can also do some coding =)
As a company, endios is very well-versed and very well networked in the German energy market. So it works in an exciting environment with a growing spectrum of functionality, partners and customers. A lot of value is placed on the employees and everyone can and is encouraged to contribute their opinion and expertise to the product. People from different cultural and content backgrounds come together to create and move something that makes the daily work exciting and special. We value a culture that allows us to learn and grow not only alone but as a team. This is a daily challenge that endios and its employees take on.
The transformation from an agency approach with a white label solution to a clear scalable product strategy with a SaaS approach and still being very close to the customer and the market. The journey is a big part of the goal here and held a big learning curve.
Fixing major or minor bugs, implementing new features/widgets, and improving / maintaining the Android codebase.
The atmosphere, tools, and challenges it gives in a respective manner.
Understanding the complicated logic behind the tech, and implementing a full upgrade/refactoring of a widget in 1 week.
Every morning we update each other in the product team to see what everybody is working on and if someone might need help from somebody else. Depending on the current project and the project status the rest of the day is almost never the same. I might either do some research, talk to stakeholders, lay out goals and KPIs, design and document new features in close cooperation with our UI/UX-designers, write tickets for development or test already implemented features
At endios anyone can express their ideas and suggestions for improvement. In our teams we work closely together at eye level, to reach the best outcome. Everyone is super supportive.
My personal highlight are the friends I made amongst my coworkers and the interesting conversations that you can have any day in the kitchen. We are a very multicultural team and a lot of people with different personalities and interests working together so it never gets boring.
